INGREDIENTS

For the Walnut tart

  • 300 gr. tart dough, prebaked
  • 200 gr. walnuts
  • 170 gr. eggs
  • 150 gr. maple syrup
  • 115 gr. granulated sugar
  • 30 gr. butter, melted
  • 30 gr. brandy
  • confectioners’ sugar, for dusting

DIRECTIONS

For the Walnut tart

Spread the walnuts evenly in the prebaked tart shell. Combine the eggs, maple syrup, sugar, butter and brandy, blending well. Pour into the tart shell. Bake at 177⁰C until the filling is set, about 35 minutes. Cool completely. Just before serving, dust lightly with confectioners’ sugar.
