Chocolate is best stored in a dark place away from direct light and at a temperature which does not exceed 20-25°C.
Chocolate easily absorbs odors from the environment, so you must avoid leaving it exposed to air; always keep it well wrapped or in an airtight container which does not allow light in.
Its greatest enemy is moisture, so you must never normally store chocolate in the fridge or freezer. If this is necessary however, due to very high temperatures, must make sure that it is very well packaged.
